Ben jij een ster in de keuken en trots op je roots? Vier samen met ons 100 jaar Keizer Karelpark tijdens het MultiCultureel Culinair Festival!
Op zondag 31 mei 2026 toveren we het OntmoetingLokaal om tot een kleurrijke wereldmarkt vol smaken en verhalen. We vieren niet alleen het jubileum van onze wijk, maar vooral de prachtige mix van culturen die onze buurt zo uniek maakt. En daar hebben we jóú voor nodig!
Wij zoeken gepassioneerde thuiskoks!
Vind je het leuk om een traditioneel hapje uit jouw cultuur te delen met je buren? We zoeken enthousiaste buurtbewoners uit alle windstreken (we hopen op wel 12 verschillende nationaliteiten!) die:
- Een klein, thuisbereid gerechtje willen presenteren.
- Het leuk vinden om hun land te vertegenwoordigen (extra punten voor traditionele kleding, muziek of decoratie, maar niets moet!).
- Samen met ons willen bouwen aan een middag vol verbinding en gezelligheid.
Wat regelen wij?
Je hoeft geen compleet restaurant te runnen! Wij zorgen voor de basis, zodat jij kunt stralen:
- Je eigen kraam: Een mooie plek om jouw land en gerechten te presenteren.
- Faciliteiten: Een magnetron en airfryer staan klaar om hapjes op te warmen.
- Sfeer: Gezellige tafels om aan aan te schuiven, een bar voor drankjes en bij mooi weer breiden we het feest uit naar buiten!
Waarom meedoen?
Dit festival draait om verbinding. Niets brengt mensen sneller samen dan een goed bord eten en een mooi gesprek. Het is dé kans om je buren op een informele manier te leren kennen en jouw cultuur letterlijk op de kaart te zetten.

Are you a star in the kitchen and proud of your roots? Celebrate 100 years of Keizer Karelpark with us during the MultiCultural Culinary Festival!
On Sunday, May 31, 2026, we will transform the OntmoetingLokaal into a colorful world market full of flavors and stories. We are not only celebrating the 100th anniversary of our neighborhood, but especially the beautiful mix of cultures that makes our community so unique. And we need you to make it happen!
We are looking for passionate home cooks!
Do you enjoy sharing a traditional snack from your culture with your neighbors? We are looking for enthusiastic residents from all corners of the globe (we're aiming for 12 different nationalities!) who:
- Want to prepare and share a small, home-cooked dish.
- Would enjoy representing their country (extra points for traditional clothing, music, or decoration, but it's not mandatory!).
- Want to help us create an afternoon of connection and fun.
What do we provide?
You don't have to run a full restaurant! We take care of the basics so you can shine:
- Your own stall: A dedicated space to present your country and dishes.
- Facilities: A microwave and airfryer will be available to heat up snacks.
- Atmosphere: Cozy tables to sit together, a bar for drinks, and if the weather is nice, we’ll move the party outdoors!
Why participate?
This festival is all about connection. Nothing brings people together faster than a good plate of food and a great conversation. It’s the perfect chance to get to know your neighbors and literally give them a taste of your culture.
